Conquering Imposter Syndrome: Practical Strategies for Coaches
This interactive 2-hour workshop addresses the widespread challenge of imposter syndrome among coaches at all levels. Drawing on positive psychology principles and evidence-based research, participants will explore the psychological mechanisms behind imposter feelings and their impact on coaching effectiveness and professional fulfilment. The workshop introduces practical tools and techniques to identify, challenge, and transform limiting beliefs that fuel self-doubt in coaching practice. Through structured activities including „Belief Excavation,” „Strength-Spotting Partners,” and „Implementation Intention Planning,” coaches will develop personalized strategies to build authentic confidence. Participants will leave with an actionable toolkit of 5-7 practices they can immediately implement in their coaching relationships. This workshop aligns with research on self-efficacy, growth mindset, and flourishing, incorporating insights from my book „50 Exercises to Overcome Imposter Syndrome.” The approach combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with strengths-based coaching methodologies to foster lasting positive change in coaches’ professional identity and performance.
